Rocky Ledge Farm began with John and Donna and a barn full of show cattle - animals they raised, halter-broke, and cared for like family. That love of doing right by their animals grew into something bigger: a working farm feeding neighbors the same honest way, with patience, pride, and nothing to hide.
They still do the chores themselves. They still know every animal by name. And they'd rather grow slowly and do it right than scale fast and lose what matters.
Every animal on this farm is raised on open pasture, moved to fresh grass, and never given hormones or fed in a feedlot. It's slower and it's harder - and it's the only way we're willing to do it.
Low-stress handling and room to roam their whole lives.
Come visit any time. What you see is what you eat.
Every season leaves our soil richer than before.
Rocky Ledge started in 2025, with a barn full of cattle and a family that loved the work. Today the farm sits on the rolling pasture of Loudon, Tennessee - good ground, and a promise we keep every day. The farmhouse, the barns, the ridgelines: we're writing the next chapter here, and building something that will feed this community for years to come.
